The European Economic and Social Committee is now the first EU body to explicitly recognize regenerative agriculture as a core strategy. For small farms in the Alps, this could mean real funding support for practices we are already doing or want to adopt: reduced tillage, cover cropping, silvopasture. The transition period is 3-5 years before economics flip positive, but the cooperative equipment-sharing model keeps upfront costs manageable. Climate Farmers already has 1,800 farms enrolled across Europe.
